Awakening in the Moment A Yoga and Meditation Workshop with Sarah Cotten
Saturday, May 3, 1:30-4:30 pm
Explore mindfulness of the Here and Now through asana, flowing movement, self-massage, pranayama, and meditation. The asana practice will be invigorating and grounding. With self-massage of marmas (energy points) and pranayama (breathwork) we will balance the flow of prana, or vital energy. In seated and walking meditation we will make friends with our own minds. Please join us in awakening to the peace that is the birthright of each of us.
Level: Appropriate for experienced yoga students and fit beginners.

Sarah Cotten began her in-depth study of yoga in Nepal and India. One of Tucson Yoga's original yoga teachers, she has been a committed practitioner since 1996 and has been teaching yoga since 2000.
Sarah is honored to be the student of Chris Coniaris, Shiva Rea, and Acharya Dale Asrael, and she practices Buddhism in the Shambhala tradition. Herclasses are guided by the wave-like motion of the breath and, while often vigorous, are also deeply meditative. She enjoys the ongoing process of deepening her creative relationship to all of life in each moment.
