Natasha
Korshak
Natasha is a long time teacher of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness- she is also an ordained
Interfaith Minister and a Vedic Astrologer.
Natasha has been practicing formally since she was 19 years old and has been blessed with many
great teachers and opportunities to earn her livelihood as a teacher and guide. Her approach to
asana is gentle and integrated: gentle, meaning that we practice relaxing within the effort, and
integrated meaning that movement, breath, and meditation are interconnected. Her deepest
desire as a teacher is to convey the essence of yoga through simple, awareness-based practice.
Natasha has taught in a wide variety of settings and has worked with people from all over
the world. She worked at the Southern Arizona Cancer Care Center for 3 years, where she
helped create holistic programs that complemented conventional cancer treatment. For 12
years she worked at Miraval Life in Balance in Catalina where she managed the yoga and
meditation programs and was Director of Mindfulness Education. Recently, she contributed to
the launching of the “Mindful Veterans Project” serving local veterans and their families dealing
with stress and trauma.
Natasha carries the highest level of yoga training certification via the National Yoga Alliance,
is a senior faculty member for the International Yoga College, and is graduate of the American
College of Vedic Astrology. In addition to her yoga training, Natasha is a graduate of the
Interfaith Theological Seminary and has completed professional training at the Center for
Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society and the Integrative Restoration Institute. Her
professional practice is conducted under the umbrella of Yoga at Heart, a teaching, training,
and consulting business dedicated to furthering the application of contemplative wisdom in the
world.
