Leah Stauber
In the nine years since her yoga practice was born, Leah has been blessed to study with teachers representing a range of styles, including Anusara, Bikram, Iyengar, Vinyasa, and generalized Hatha. As a longtime endurance athlete, she also has a particular interest in the physiological effects of asana (poses) and pranayama (breathwork) for overall health and fitness, and enjoys guiding students of all levels into practices appropriate for their bodies and lifestyles. Leah's classes balance an attention to alignment with an encouragement towards self-guided flow.
Above all, Leah is committed to the belief that the joy and healing of yoga should be accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities. In addition to her studio-based classes, she teaches yoga to teenagers, schoolteachers, Alzheimer's patients, and the elderly. She additionally is co-founder and director of YogaReach, a nonprofit organization offering free classes in yoga and meditation to underserved youth (www.yogareach.org).
