Scott Butler Fundraiser

We are raising support for our dear friend Scott Butler, whose downtown wood shop burned down on Monday. Scott is a wood craftsman who installs gorgeous work in homes, from floors to cabinets to stairs. He's a dedicated yogi with a kind and generous heart. He installed our wonderful cork floor and has donated his time and expertise to several Tucson Yoga projects over the years. 

To help with Scott's costs in rebuilding his shop, we'll be donating 100% of the proceeds from our Wednesday 5:30 Beginning Yoga class with Sunny Burdick next week on August 22nd. Class drop-in cost is $6 and additional donations for Scott will be welcome. Proceeds will go toward relocating and rebuilding the shop, so he can get back into production as soon as possible

In addition, we'll be selling Scott's beautiful mesquite cutting boards at the studio very soon. The cutting boards are high-quality and durable, and each one is unique. They'll sell for $25-$35 each.

When speaking with Scott about this tragedy, we were truly humbled by his attitude. Despite his loss, he says he feels overwhelmed with gratitude for the tremendous support he has received from others.
